San Diegans Support Project Concern Through Fun Events

Project Concern International is a non-profit organization that is focused on relieving the world of poverty and chronic disease. Motivated by their concern for the world’s most vulnerable children, families, and communities, Project Concern International (PCI) envisions a world where abundant resources are shared, communities are able to provide for the health and well being of their members, and children and families can achieve lives of hope, good health, and self-sufficiency. Project Concern International is a donor funded organization with 83% of every dollar donated going directly to their programs and hosts a variety of fundraisers. Some recent examples in the San Diego area include sponsoring a table at the Del Mar Racetracks and entering a golf tournament at Morgan Run Golf Club and Restaurant. These events are good entertainment for the cost, and they provide much needed funds for Project Concern to continue with their lifesaving work in helping the underprivileged become self sufficient.

The most recent event held by PCI was held at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club on August 7th, titled a Chairman’s Day at the Races. For $35 to $3500 anyone could watch or sponsor a table at the races. For those who attended, it was an excellent way to enjoy a beautiful day in San Diego while supporting a meaningful cause.

Another fundraiser that PCI will be having is the Robert F. Driver Memorial Golf Tournament on August 17th. Morgan Run is a very exclusive golf club located in Rancho Santa Fe, California. This event is a must for those who love playing or watching golf at a beautiful location. Sponsorship costs range from $500 to $10000, and include a plethora of different benefits.
